BitDefender has been notified on October 24, 2007 on the existence of a vulnerability in OScan8.ocx and Oscan81.ocx included in BitDefender Online Scanner 8.0.
Detailed description:
A new version of BitDefender Online Anti-Virus Scanner has been released in the form of Oscan82.ocx. The new version is available here:
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
The vulnerability still exists on the computers that have used BitDefender Online Scanner in the past. We advise all our customers to try out the new version.
