BitDefender(tm), an award-winning provider of antivirus software and data security solutions, today announced the winners of its Crash and Win Contest, which invited Linux enthusiasts and professionals to crash test the Beta version of BitDefender Mail Protection for Enterprises, BitDefender's new antivirus and antispam solution for Linux e-mail servers. Dino Dragovic, from Osijek, Croatia, won first place and will receive 1,024 German beers and a trip to BitDefender's corporate headquarters in Romania, where he will tour Count Dracula's favorite haunts and attend meetings with the BitDefender development team and other local luminaries.

Dragovic, the most thorough beta tester, uncovered the most reproducible bugs since the contest was announced in November. In addition to a trip to Romania and over 1,000 beers, Dragovic won an Apple iPod and docking station. Second place winners, Ben Galliart and Andreas Roedl, from the United States, each received an Apple iPod and docking station. Third place winners Siao Tan from Malayesia and Karl Lattimer from the United Kingdom, also each received an Apple iPod for their efforts.
