BitDefender attends CeBIT 2007
Tettnang/Germany, 8th of March 2007 – BitDefender®, an award-winning provider of antivirus software and data security solutions is participating at CeBIT 2007, at Hall 7 Stand B20 – 15th to 21st March. Highlights include BitDefender’s new technologies for fighting against the increasing amount of Spam in the mailbox. BitDefender will also present the BitDefender Mobile Security v2. The certified and awarded BitDefender scan engine is now available for mobile devices like PDA’s and Smartphones running on Symbian and CE operating platforms.
Mobile devices generally become more and more threatened by viruses. The new BitDefender solution for mobile devices constantly (On-Demand and On-Access) protects your PDA or Smartphones against malware from the web. The virus scanner scans the internal memory, memory cards or the whole device for possible viruses and eliminates them immediately. BitDefender also proudly presents a new concept for virus protection using neural networks. Based on artificial intelligence, the networks are able to self develop and make use of the knowledge from previous attacks even if there is no reported criteria available.
