Bitdefender UK and Interactive Ideas sign distribution deal to address growing security demands for cloud and virtualisation markets

January 17, 2012 - Security specialist, Bitdefender UK and specialist VAD, Interactive Ideas have confirmed a partnership to distribute Bitdefender business and enterprise solutions.A key aim of the agreement is to work closely with independent system builders, VARS and MSPs dedicated to delivering cost-effective solutions for their customers, irrespective of location. The Bitdefender portfolio has grown further with the launch of its recent solutions (cloud security for endpoints and security for virtualised environments (SVE)) that offer the most comprehensive security technology available on the market.

The potential for a successful partnership stems from the common ground between the two companies committed to offering market leading technologies, best support and value added services to all customers.Furthermore, Interactive Ideas’ experience with enterprise customers, selling and supporting virtualisation software from top vendors make them an ideal fit with new Bitdefender security for virtualisation products.

Growth for Bitdefender UK has been very healthy in the retail arena. The launch of cloud and virtual security products allows Bitdefender to meet the growing market demand for security in these areas, especially in organisations that have a complex mix of platforms and environments.
