The initial option provides account password level protection that allows for the recovery of back up data in the case of a lost or forgotten password. The second option adds an additional layer of security by encrypting all data with the access password using AES 256. This more secure option ensures that the data can only be decrypted or recovered by the rightful owner.

Bitdefender Online Backup for Business Fair Use Policy

• No resales are permitted. Licenses are not transferable.
• All users must be employees of the firm.
• Maximum number of users is 15.
• In the opinion of Bitdefender if the business is consuming excess bandwidth, disk or processor resources, Bitdefender may, after 10 days notice, require upgrade to a plan commensurate with the use.
• The user will be given the opportunity to receive all data at no extra charge if the user elects not to purchase a plan commensurate with their use.
