Bitdefender Management Server Passwords
Bitdefender Client Security is an easy to use business security and management solution, which delivers superior proactive protection from viruses, spyware, rootkits, spam, phishing and other malware. It offers the following components: Bitdefender Management Server (with/without add-on), Bitdefender Local Update Server, Bitdefender Business Client and Bitdefender Management Agent;
Bitdefender Management Server and its client products can be configured and managed through a graphical user interface named Bitdefender Management Console. The new MMC-based management console was designed with the network administrator's needs in mind and focusing on improving user experience.
1. Bitdefender Management Console Password
The Bitdefender Management Console password is the password which enables you to login to the Bitdefender Management Server and use its features. The default password for the Bitdefender Management Console is admin. Upon the first use of this product we strongly advise you to change the default password to a custom one.
To change the default password please, in the left pane tree menu, right-click the server icon and select the “Change Password” option.

You will be prompted to enter the old password, then enter and confirm the new password.

2. SQL Connection Password
The SQL Connection Password is used internally by the Bitdefender Management Server to connect to its SQL database instance which is present in the SQL Server. This login occurs upon the Bitdefender Management Server service start. The database instance is created during the installation of Bitdefender Management Server and the password needs to be changed only when you already manually changed your “sa” account password from SQL Server
