NETGEAR: How and why should I move new devices to My Devices?

NETGEAR Armor allows users to move devices associated with their accounts to the My Devices section of the Devices page.

Why should I move devices to the My Devices section of the Devices page?

These are the main benefits of moving your devices to the My Devices section:

Update: Users can update the Bitdefender local protection security software on their Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android products from the NETGEAR Armor platform.

Profile: Users can associate a device with a particular profile on their account.

Settings: Users can change the name of devices listed in the My Devices section.

Users have more control over how NETGEAR Armor interacts with their devices. Depending on their status, here are the features available for devices on your Armor account:

Devices listed in My Devices

• Devices on which local protection can be/is installed: Update, Profile, Settings, Remove.

• Devices on which local protection cannot be installed: Profile, Settings, Remove.

Devices not listed in My Devices: Move to My Devices, Remove.
