How to disable Windows Automatic Updates on Windows 10

The Patch Management module in GravityZone releases you from the burden of keeping the endpoints updated with the latest software patches, by automatically distributing and installing patches for a vast variety of products.

With Patch Management, you can also distribute and install the latest Windows 10 updates as an alternative to Windows Automatic Updates.

To be able to do this, you first have to disable Automatic Updates on the endpoints via Group Policy (GPO).

The GPO resides under this path: Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Windows Update \ Configure Automatic Updates. You need to set Configure Automatic Updates to Disabled. After this, force a GPO update through your environment.
