How to Turn Off Scam Protection Pro on Windows

If you need to turn off the Bitdefender Scam Protection Pro feature on a Windows computer, follow these easy steps.

 

Step 1. Open Scam Protection Pro

  1. Open Bitdefender Total Security.
  2. On the main dashboard, either:
    • Hover the cursor over Scam Protection Pro and select Open, or

    • Click on Protection on the left side menu, then click on Open in the Scam Protection Pro panel.

Step 2. Go to Settings

  1. In the Scam Protection Pro module, click on the Manage your protection option.
  2. This will open the Scam Protection Pro settings.

Step 3. Disable Scam Radar

  1. Scroll down and turn off the Scam Radar option.
  2. The switch will change color from blue (active) to gray (disabled).

Once the Scam Radar switch turns gray, Scam Protection Pro will be disabled on your Windows computer, and you will no longer be informed about emerging scam activities in your region.
