VB100% award finally in - testing error fixed
BitDefender was granted the VB100% award for fully passing the Virus Bulletin June 2004 Windows XP comparative review. The award had been initially refused by Virus Bulletin in June because of an apparent glitch in the test submittal procedures. An erratum has been published, rectifying the mistake. This is the fourth consecutive test BitDefender Windows-based products have passed so far.
"This was an unfortunate event, but I am glad to see our products gain the recognition they so clearly deserve. Usually a passed VB test is cause for celebration for the technical team; this time, we'll just say a big thank you to our users, who never ceased believing in us. And maybe break open a bottle of bubbly, too." declared Bogdan Dumitru, BitDefender CTO.
