Bitdefender Central has officially ended support for the Internet Explorer web browser.
To clarify, End of Support means that the Bitdefender Central website will be inaccessible from Internet Explorer. It also means that Bitdefender stops actively developing, providing compatibility and technical support for this web browser. If you are using Internet Explorer 11 or an earlier version to access https://central.bitdefender.com you will experience a total loss of functionality of our website.
As technologies evolve, Microsoft announced the end of Internet Explorer support for a series of apps and services in 2021. The Internet Explorer browser will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022, while Windows 11 will only ship with Microsoft Edge. As Internet Explorer 11 will no longer receive security updates, it is becoming an obsolete web browser with exposed vulnerabilities. Microsoft and Bitdefender share a commitment to excellence in computer security. As a result, Bitdefender Central is moving away from Internet Explorer.
