You can delete your Bitdefender Central account at any time. Before proceeding, please review the following important information.
Important Before You Delete Your Account
- You can use the same email address to create a new Bitdefender account after deletion.
- Deleting your account removes all associated Bitdefender products and services.
- Any active Bitdefender subscriptions cannot be restored if you later create a new account.
- If the email address used for your Bitdefender Central account is the same email used to purchase your Bitdefender subscription(s), deleting the account will also stop future auto-renewal charges.
Steps to Delete Your Bitdefender Central Account
Step 1: Sign In to Bitdefender Central
- Go to the Bitdefender Central website https://central.bitdefender.com/
- Sign in to the Bitdefender Central account you wish to delete.
Step 2: Open Account Settings
- After signing in, click your username or profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Click on Bitdefender Account from the menu.
The Bitdefender Account page will open in a new browser tab.
Step 3: Go to Data & Privacy
- In the account page, open the Data & Privacy tab.
- Click the Delete account tab.
Step 4: Select a Reason
- Select a reason for deleting your account from the list provided.
- Then click Continue.
Step 5: Confirm the Deletion
- Enter your Bitdefender Central account password to confirm the action.
- Click Delete account.
Your Bitdefender Central account is now permanently deleted.
